Scholarships
The Maryland Steeplechase Association is dedicated to supporting and developing our young riders who will grow up to be the foxchasers and steeplechasers of tomorrow, and we do this by offering four scholarships, the Jonathan Kiser Memorial Scholarship and the Junior Foxchasing Scholarship.

Potomac Hunt Club's Hopeful Hunter Scholarship: Kelly Witte
Green Spring Valley Hunt Club Cubbing Camp: Lindsay Capps
Maryland Junior Foxchasing Scholarship: Tate Shaw
(free tuition to both Potomac's seminar and Green Spring Valley's camp as well as caps for junior and a chaperone to all five MSA participating Hunt Clubs: Potomac, Marlborough, Elkridge-Harford, Green Spring Valley and Howard County - Iron Bridge)

The Jonathan Kiser Memorial Scholarship: Emma Warden
Presented in recognition of a junior Maryland rider who most exemplifies Jonathan’s characteristics of racing talent, courage, and commitment to the sport of steeplechasing. As part of the scholarship, the recipient gets the opportunity to train with one of the top NSA licensed steeplechase trainers in Maryland and has his or her tuition covered for the NAPPA Racing Camp, a week long tour of top training facilities and a day at Saratoga.
