The 8th Annual Running of the Legacy Chase took place on Saturday, September 28, 2009. The Legacy Chase is a great day for steeplechasing, a great day for enjoying the countryside and a great way to share a unique occasion with friends, associates and family and help benefit GBMC HealthCare. The 2008 Legacy Chase featured five steeplechase races, with over $90,000 in purse money, and The Legacy Fair. The Legacy Fair, an old-fashioned country fair, included a children's craft area, nature center, vendor village, equine demonstrations, pony rides, crafts, refreshments and FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
